A field trip to the Statehouse sponsored by the Oxford County Democrats was held on May 10. The group, representing Mexico, Rumford, Dixfield, Greenwood, Gilead, Paris and Norway, attended the Senate Democratic caucus, a press event for Maine Clean Elections, both House and Senate sessions and afternoon work sessions. A lunch was hosted in the council chamber by the County Democrats and featured a conversation with assistant Democratic leader Rep. Hayes, Sen. Patrick, Rep. Peterson and Rep. Briggs.
