Duplicate bridge
OXFORD — Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met May 13 . Finishing first in flight A were Paul Kahl (Westbrook) and Dave Kallander (Harrison) who also were first in flight B. Finishing second were Milt McKeen (Bridgton) and Jim Krainin (Windham) who also were second in flight B and first in flight C. Finishing third in flight A were Lucille Theriault (Lewiston) and Mike Quinn (Otisfield). Finishing third in flight B were Priscilla Rooth (Brunswick) and Hazel Glazier (Norway). Finishing second in flight C were Hank Sakrison (Poland) and Denny Raymond (Waterford).

Pot roast
BRYANT POND — A Yankee pot roast supper will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at the Masonic Building, Main Street, Route 26.
The meal includes pot roast, mashed potatoes, peas, gravy, dinner rolls, homemade pies, bread pudding, coffee, punch and water. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under five.
Grange sale
WEST PARIS — The West Paris Grange #298 will hold a spring sale from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28. There will be food, plants, books, decorator items and household items. Luncheon items and beverages will be available at noon.

The Grange is now back to regular meetings at 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursday evenings at the hall.
Plant sale
CANTON — A plant sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, at Heritage Park. Perennials, shrubs and berry bushes will be available.
Plants or plant pots can be donated by calling Thomas Adley at 597-2168.
Yard sale
PARIS — REACH, the sexual assault support center for Oxford County and the towns of Bridgton and Harrison, will hold a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, as well as June 3 and 4, at the REACH office.
Donated items are being accepted now at the office, 1 E. Main St., South Paris. All types of goods are welcome, such as toys, household items, dishes, garden supplies, tools, etc. Please, no electronic equipment.

Annual breakfast
STONEHAM — Stoneham Rescue will hold its annual Memorial Day breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Sunday, May 29, on Buttershill Road. $5 adults, $2.50 children under 10. Menu includes scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, plain and blueberry pancakes, coffee, OJ and more.
