Susan McEachern, left, of Livgeiger, and a cancer survivor demonstrate the Liv device for Ruth Eliot of Auburn during ladies’ night at the Health Awareness Fair at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn on Tuesday. The Liv device was developed by the popular singer Olivia Newton John, a cancer survivor. The device helps women with breast self-exams and is available through the St. Mary’s Health System. Ladies’ night offered an evening of music, speakers on health issues, skin screenings and blood pressure checks, among other things. The event was sponsored by St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Livgeiger and the Spectrum Health Group.
