BETHEL — John J. Riley III, a successful entrepreneur with 30 years in the business world who has embarked on a new career as a Gould Academy faculty member, will speak at Gould Academy’s 175th commencement on Saturday, May 28.

“I am very pleased that Jay will address this year’s graduating class,” said Head of School Dan Kunkle. “His career path and experience speaks to the mission of our school, one that is predicated upon building the confidence to take risks, to be true to yourself, and to be true to your passions. I believe his story of entrepreneurship and dedication to education will resonate with the class of 2011.”

In 2009, Riley accepted the position of dean of athletics and co-curricular activities at Gould where he also teaches English.
