DIXFIELD — The Police Department handled 24 incidents from May 19 to 26. They include the following:

* May 21 at 1:30 p.m.: Police responded to a complaint at 39 East Dixfield Road that three items had been stolen from a shed. They were a Craftsman generator valued of $300, a Troy-Bilt rototiller valued at $450 and a garden cart valued at $80.

* May 22 at 4:20 p.m.: Police responded to a car-deer collision on Route 142. Alexandra Martin, 25, of Farmington, was driving south in a 2001 Subaru station wagon when she swerved to avoid a deer in the road and the car went off the highway and hit a tree. She was wearing a seat belt and was not hurt. The car had $1,600 damage.

* May 26 at 9:30 a.m.: Police responded to a theft complaint from the Maine Department of Transportation Environmental Division. Employees reported a camera that monitored water flow at a culvert at Newton Brook Crossing on Route 2 was stolen. The camera is valued at $400.
