LEWISTON — A Mass of Chrisitan Burial was celebrated Thursday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul for Hermance B. Penny Drouin. The Rev. Maurice Morin officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. The reading and prayer of the faithful were proclaimed by Lorraine Drouin and Nicole Salemi. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Cathy Russell and Rachel Miller. Her son, Robert, played the guitar and daughter-in-law, Monicque, sang the offertory song “Mon Vraie Destin.” Words of remembrances were shared by Dr. Michael T. Drouin. Pallbearers were Tim, Tony, Tommy, and Ted Theriault, Rob Drouin and Kevin Gagne. A reception followed at Chick-a-dee Restaurant in Lewiston. A service of The Fortin Group Funeral Home.
