A worker from Creative Glass Co. in Lewiston carries a mirror to be used at The Dance Center’s new location on Western Avenue in Auburn. Several small businesses are being forced to vacate the former Great Falls School because part of it is being torn down. Dance Center owner Elizabeth Hansen and her husband bought the former Merrill Hill School at the corner of Court Street and Western Avenue and are busy renovating it. They plan to move the dance center into the building in June.

They plan to move the dance center into the building in June, taking a few of their Great Falls neighbors with them. The Mudroom Pottery Studio and fitness trainer Glenn Atkins will make the move with the Hansens. They are also contemplating re-opening a day care center in the basement where one was once located..
