Livermore Falls American Legion Post 10 members post 300 flags on a hill at Park and Cedar streets in Livermore Falls on Thursday night to honor veterans. Placing the flags are Ken Bouchard, left, second vice commander of the Maine Department of American Legion, and Andy Gerrier, second from left, member of the local Legion Executive Committee, while organizer Don Simoneau is seen at end of the rows. Each flag represents a veteran someone has chosen to recognize. Veterans Hill will be on display from Friday, May 27, to Friday, June 3. Anyone wishing to get the flag they sponsored may do so from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Legion Post on Reynolds Avenue.
