DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for a Christmas tree topper that my mother had when I was a little girl in the late 1960s. It was a gold star with the center cut out for what I call an upside-down cup made of plastic, I believe. It was multi-colored, and there was a bulb inside the upside-down cup. DEAR SUN SPOTS: In reply to G. Nadeau’s request for religious 45 records, I wanted to remind your readers that the Franco American Collection at USM LAC boasts an unusually large (for this era) collection of vinyl records, many of which are French religious albums.

These include, for example, music by Les Petits Chanteurs de Lewiston, Les Chants de la Première Communion and records produced by La Bonne Chanson. DEAR SUN SPOTS: On July 13 the Scarlet O’Hatters of Lisbon Falls and surrounding areas have planned a trip to Wolfboro, N.H. The tour consists of bus, cruise on Mt. Washington boat, train ride with a turkey dinner while we ride the train at Lake Winnipesaukee. The cost is $94. We leave at 8 a.m. from Exit 80 in Lewiston and return at 6 p.m.
