RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Esther Drouin was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Alfred Jacques was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Prayer of St. Francis was sung by Lillian Poirier; other music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria,” “You Raise Me Up” and “Fly Like a Bird.” The Old and New Testament were proclaimed by Connie Venskus. The gifts were presented by Kim and Mike Papsadora. The eulogy was given by her daughter, Jeanne Duguay and son, Gary Drouin. Pallbearers were Jason Capponi, Dan Bordeau, Matt Papsadora, Dane Curato, Matt Myatt and Eric Bordeau. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Arrangements by SG Thibault Funeral Home.
