NORWAY — Oxford Hills Music and Performing Arts Association will present Ken Ludwig’s “Lend Me a Tenor” on June 16-19 and 23-26 at the Norway Grange on Whitman Street.
Evening performances will begin at 8 o’clock, Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets, $10, $8 for seniors, are available at Books N Things on Main Street.
The comedy features Tom Ferent as Tito Morelli, a world-famous tenor of the 1930s. Shane Miclon plays Max, who’d like his own moment of glory on the operatic stage, as well as a chance for love with the beautiful young Maggie, played by Alyssa Wyman.
Rounding out the cast are Allison Whitney, Corrine Turner, Vincent Brown and Brandon Sukeforth.
“Lend Me a Tenor” contains some adult humor and much hilarity involving mistaken identities, fiery Italian tempers lots of door slamming.
