MANCHESTER, N.H. — Troy Wayne Kyajohnian, 36, formerly of Lewiston, passed away suddenly on May 25, at his home in Manchester, N.H.

He was the husband and best friend of Jaime Kyajohnian, who have been together for 13 years. The two met at Southern New Hampshire University, where they both attended and received degrees, and were married in October 2004.

Troy was born in Lewiston, the son of Debra Kyajohnian and Mark Hamby, both of Lewiston.

Troy was a talented athlete in multiple sports including football which he was a Fitzpatrick finalist in 1993 at Lewiston High School. He was also employed as a sheet metal fabricator at Dube’s Custom Street Machines in Hudson. A self-taught entrepreneur, he was incredibly talented when working on cars and motorcycles and was featured in EasyRiders magazine in 2005, and a perfectionist in everything he did.

Troy was a kind and generous man who loved his family, his home, his friends, golf, bending sheet metal and his dog Sasha. His entire family and friends are devastated that Troy is gone, and he will be remembered with the love and affection from everyone who knew and loved him.

Troy leaves two brothers, Brandon Kyajohnian and Carlton Gagnon, both of Lewiston; a stepbrother, Marcus Hamby Jr.; several other aunts and uncles; his family in New Hampshire, which includes his in-laws, Jeanne and Tom Dougherty of Merrimack, and D. Charles and Carolyn Marquis of West Palm Beach, Fla.; grandparents, Edward and Pearl Fortin of Nashua, and Angela Marquis of Hampton; and several other aunts, nieces and nephews in and around the Nashua area.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Therese Kyajohnian of Lewiston.
