MINOT— Thomas B. Gould, 74, passed away peacefully in his sleep early Tuesday morning, with family by his side, following a courageous 11-year battle with cancer.

He was born in Lewiston Jan. 24, 1937, the son of Donald H. and Leona (Brinker) Gould. He was educated in Auburn schools. He worked hard all of his life beginning at a young age, always working in the outdoors, from logging to managing local apple orchards. He married the love of his life, Ginger, on Dec. 19, 1964.

Tom was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Marshall-Parise and husband, Mark, of Oxford, Torry Wahler and husband, Tim. of Embden. Judy Dill and husband, Woody, of Oxford, and Joanna Vining and husband, Bill, of Minot; two brothers, John Gould and wife, Ramona, and Bill Gould and wife, Becky, all of Minot; one sister-in-law, Jessie Gould of Arizona; stepmother, Arlene Robinson Gould; and stepsister, Linda Grondin and husband, Marcel Grondin; nine grandchildren, Angela and Heather Wahler, Kendra, Buddy, and Chelsea Marshall, Chris Parise, Adam Vining, and Josh and Ben Dill; five great-grandchildren, Michael and Zoe Dyer, Tyler Edwards, and David and Isaac Marshall; as well as an expected great-grandchild this August. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews; and numerous wonderful lifelong friends.

He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Ginger; and his brother, Donald.
