LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice has partnered with the Lewiston Elks Lodge #371 to host a day of music, food and celebration from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 5, to raise funds to place a flagpole outside the Hospice House, located at 236 Stetson Road in Auburn.
The event titled “All You Need Is Love” will be held at Elks Lodge, 1675 Lisbon Road. The event will feature a chicken and burger barbeque, beverages, fun and live entertainment by The Pinecasters, Terry and the Telstars, Firewater Creek, BAM and a special appearance by Debbie Morin.
An American flag was donated by Sen. Olympia Snowe. “It is a profound honor for me to provide Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice with an American flag flown over the U.S. Capitol. The cherished emblem of this nation and symbol of freedom and democracy, our flag is a constant reminder of our storied history, from 1776 to today,” said Snowe.
Tickets can be purchased from any Lewiston Elks member, at the Lewiston Elks Lodge, the Hospice House, Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice office, 15 Strawberry Ave., or by calling the development department of AHCH at 795-9404.
