LEWISTON — James B. Stevens, 72, of Lisbon, passed away on May 25, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 17, 1938 in Berlin, N.H., son of Joseph B. Stevens and Vivian M. Stevens. He was a founding member of Sky Streakers R/C Model Club. He served in both the Army and the Navy.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren and watching and supporting New England sports teams.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Stevens; his children, Jonathan Stevens, Cheryl Stevens and her partner, Jeff and Christopher Stevens and wife, Tonya; his brothers, Bobby Stevens of Connecticut, Michael Stevens of Topsham and John Violette of Arizona; sisters, Sally Bourget of Lisbon Falls and Peggy Stevens of Farmington; his six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents.

His wife would like to thank Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the many years of help and support.
