Incident Report Statistics

Patrol officers responded to 94 complaints from midnight May 23 to 5 p.m. May 29, not including basic traffic stops.

Arrests/summonses

May 23 at 11 p.m.: Kevin Pettegrow, 28, of Rumford was summoned by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Hancock Street on charges of violation of bail and assault. Pettegrow is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 2.

May 25 at 2:02 a.m.: Jonathan Edwards, 35, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Waldo Street on a charge of operating under the influence. Edwards was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 2.

Theft

May 25 at 12:53 p.m.: Sgt. Douglas Maifeld is investigating theft of gasoline from a Bridge Street business. Loss: $20

May 26 at 7:01 a.m.: Patrolman Dave Hodgson is investigating the theft of a 1990 Chevrolet Celebrity from Prospect Avenue. Vehicle was recovered in Gorham, N.H.
