DIXFIELD — A fundraiser for the family of Naomi Jean Farrar has raised $303, according to town Deputy Treasurer Charlotte Collins.
Staff of the town office began the benefit drive shortly after Farrar, 41, of Peru, passed away unexpectedly May 15, leaving behind five children.
Dixfield police officers will deliver the funds to the family in the next few days.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help the family continue to home school may be sent to Farrar Children c/o Franklin Savings Bank, P.O. Box 579, Rumford, ME 04276.
