LEWISTON — Marguerite “Miggie” F. DuLac, 90, of Auburn, passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, at Marshwood Center.
She was born in Worcester, Mass., June 5, 1920, a daughter of the late Herbert and Clara Hale. She was educated at Oxford High School, Colby Junior College and graduated from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.
She was the devoted wife of the late Henry Robert DuLac. She was a member of the High Street Congregational Church and a past member of Martindale Country Club. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, watching football, especially her Pats, skiing, golfing and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A beloved mother and grandmother, she is survived by two daughters, Christine Wiest and her husband, Thomas, of Westbrook and Janet Therrien of Silver Spring, Md.; a son, Robert DuLac of Dover, Del.; four granddaughters; five great-granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Marshwood Center staff for the kindness and care they provided to Miggie. Over the years, they became Miggie’s extended family and friends.
