LEWISTON — L/A Arts’ Gallery 5 will host Pecha Kucha Night on Friday, June 10, when people will share creative ideas on an even and fast-paced playing field.
Pecha Kucha means chatter in Japanese. During Pecha Kucha Night, presenters show 20 images for 20 seconds each. That’s six minutes and 40 seconds to energize the audience with ones ideas, project or artwork.
Presenting will be Molly Basile, chef of Marche; Paul Dionne, author of “The Priestess and the Pope;” Kathryn Beausang, jewelry artist; Justin Hartford, landscape photographer; Klara Tammany, Wisdom’s Women; Elise and Jeremy Corbally Hammond, Last Friday Art Walks; a representative of St. Mary’s Community Farmers Market; and Tammie Grieshaber, Gallery 5 curator.
The event will begin with informal networking and chit-chat at 6 p.m. in Gallery 5 at 49 Lisbon St. Presentations will begin at 6:20 p.m. A $5 donation is appreciated.
