Prudential was able to climb back into the contest on the backs of Taylor Newman, Bella Coulombe and Sara Younk. All three sluggers finished the contest with five hits apiece. Prudential was without there ace of the staff, Pawlina, due to a prior commitment, so the team relied on the arm of Cassady Bussiere. Making her first appearance on the hill, Bussiere did not disappoint and delivered a gutsy performance.

After the dust had settled from this contest, it was time to grab a quick bite to east before heading over to Sweetser Field to take on East Auburn. Having split the first two meetings by the narrowist of margins, the two teams faced off again with bragging rights at stake.
