PARIS — County Emergency Management Director Scott Parker is still on administrative leave following a special meeting of the Oxford County Commission on Tuesday night.

Commissioners took no action, according to County Administrator Scott Cole. He said the District Attorney’s Office turned information over to commissioners. He said that information fell under employee privacy rules.

Parker, who has been on administrative leave since May 26, is suspected of misuse of E-911 data, a database of phone numbers and addresses used by emergency personnel to respond to 911 calls.

Cole said the allegations are connected to the county’s new CityWatch system, which can send automated phone calls to residents in specific geographical areas to warn of natural disasters, criminals on the loose and other threats.

According to Lee Holman, chairman of the Hartford Board of Selectmen, the day after Parker completed a training session there on the CityWatch system, deputies from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office confiscated the CityWatch training manual.

Parker has not been charged. The two-hour meeting took place in executive session and ended just after 8 p.m.
