OXFORD — The Oxford Pizza Hut is holding a food drive Friday and is offering a dinner buffet for customers who bring nonperishable food items or donate money to the Oxford Helping Hands Food Pantry.

Anyone who makes a donation can enjoy an unlimited buffet for $6.99 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Manager Susan Berry, who has participated in food donation efforts in Oxford before, said the restaurant has been donating food items occasionally and sends its empty boxes to the pantry.

Berry said that customers who don’t bring food items Friday will have the option of giving a cash donation.

The Oxford Pizza Hut is also involved in fire prevention lessons in Oxford Hills and helps families around Christmastime.

The Oxford Helping Hands Food Pantry is on the upper floor of the Oxford Town Hall. It is open Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
