MEXICO — The Snake Man returns.

Yes, Rob White will be back as the Snake Man to the Mexico Public Library by popular demand on Tuesday, June 21, as part of the library’s Terrific Tuesdays children’s program series.

Terrific Tuesdays is run throughout the summer for children between the ages of 2 and 12, free of charge, every Tuesday at 10 a.m. The presentations will be held in the Calvin Lyons Hall, which is located in the basement of the Mexico Town Office building adjacent to the library.

The Snake Man will present a fun and informative program featuring many snakes. This is a hands-on presentation that will include many opportunities for the children to touch and hold the snakes, should they choose, or opt to stand at a comfortable distance of their choosing.

The Mexico Public Library has begun its reading incentive program for children titled Read S’more Books. Children will be given various prizes based on the numbers of hours that they read each week.

The library also offers a summer reading program for people ages 15 and older. The program consists of adults having the opportunity to win a prize in a weekly library drawing for every book they read.

For more information on any of these programs, contact the library at 364-3281.
