LEWISTON — Jeanne LaChance of Lewiston died peacefully at her home on June 8, with family by her side.

She was born Aug. 5, 1922, the daughter of Jerimie and Laura (Beaudette) Labbe. She owned and operated Jeanne’s Beauty Salon in Lisbon for many years.

She leaves behind her daughter, Doris St. Laurent and her husband, Conrad; her two granddaughters, Claire St. Laurent and Ann Footer; two great-grandchildren, Christopher Footer and Alicia Footer, all of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice “Lefty” LaChance, who died on May 1, 1994; her sister, Cecile Labbe Poirier; and her brothers, Armand “Bill” Labbe and Roland Labbe. Online condolences and sharing of memories may be expressed at www.lynchbrothers.com.
