SOUTH PORTLAND — Ten Maine students will receive hospitality scholarships from The Maine Innkeepers Association Education Foundation, affiliated with the Maine Innkeepers Association.

Among those receiving scholarships are:

Jordan Handy, of Lewiston, received the Ed Langlois Award ($500), sponsored by Sebasco Harbor Resort. Handy is attending Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, N.Y.

Samantha Southam, of Bethel, received the Dennis Johnston Award ($500), sponsored by Colonial Surveying. Southam is attending Boston University, Boston, Mass.

Timothy O’Neill, of Auburn, received the John O’Keeffe Award ($500), sponsored by Fisherman’s Wharf. O’Neill is attending Southern Maine Community College, South Portland.

Laura Brown, of West Poland, received the Larry Mahaney Award ($500), sponsored by Grand Hotel, Waterville. Brown is attending Husson University, Bangor.

Scholarships will be handed out at the seventh annual Tees & Textbooks event June 20 and 21,  at the Marriott Sable Oaks in South Portland. Scholarships will be presented after a 5:30 p.m. cocktail dinner reception on June 20. The 17th annual Maine Innkeepers Association Hospitality Golf classic will begin at 9 a.m. at Sable Oaks Golf Course the next day.
