TEMPLE — The town wind-power committee will hold an informational meeting June 13 to share the work it has done so far in planning a wind-power ordinance.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Monday in the Temple Town Hall.

Along with sharing its work, the committee will listen to what provisions citizens would like to have in the ordinance.

“We’ve done quite a bit of homework studying wind-power ordinances other towns have prepared and passed. But now we feel it’s time for a communitywide discussion of the ordinance before we go ahead to write a draft to present to the town at a hearing later this summer, so we hope to have a good turnout for this meeting,” Robert Kimber, committee chairman, said.

A handout on this meeting and the committee’s work so far is available at the post office bulletin board.
