Auburn passed the Flame of Hope to Lewiston during the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run, which by Wednesday had raised more than $1 million for the organization. According to the Special Olympics’ website, the run covers 900 miles in Maine and will end Friday night at opening ceremonies of the Summer Games at the University of Maine in Orono.
