LISBON — Voters will decide Tuesday on whether to approve bonding $400,000 for improvements to two buildings and a bridge.
A $13.6 million school budget, recommended by the Town Council and School Committee, is also up for a vote.
The interest rate on the 10-year bond is estimated to be between 3 and 4 percent. Voters will act on each of the four proposed projects individually. They are:
* MTM Community Center roof replaced for up to $135,000, which is recommended by the Town Council and Budget Advisory Board.
* MTM Community Center windows repaired and replaced for up to $130,000, which is recommended by the Town Council and opposed by the Budget Advisory Board.
* E.T. Smith Hose Company siding and electrical work for up to $35,000, which is recommended by the Town Council and opposed by the Budget Advisory Board.
* Fisher Road bridge renovation or replacement for up to $100,000, which is recommended by the Town Council and Budget Advisory Board.
Polling hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Residents in Ward I, Lisbon Village and Lisbon Center, will vote at the superintendent’s office on Gartley Street. Residents in Ward II, Lisbon Falls, will vote at the MTM Community Center.
