MINOT — At a recent meeting of the Minot Historical Society, a very interesting talk was given by Percy Turner on the “Dr. Littlefield Murders.” He mentioned how two men at different trials were in prison for this man’s murder along with his wife. Then in a follow up trial Frances Carrol was set free.
The next meeting of the Society will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, with the Junior History Club doing a show-and-tell of activities during the group’s first year.
The meeting will be at the town office with President Whitney Buker conducting the meeting. Refreshments will follow the program. Everyone is welcome.
