AUBURN — Barbara J. Perkins, 53, of Louise Street, Auburn, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, June 10.

She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on July 12, 1957, a daughter of Ralph R. and Betty J. (Seaward) Perkins Jr. She was educated in many schools, due to her father’s employment with the U.S. Coast Guard, and graduated from Antilles High School in Puerto Rico.

In her early years Barbara worked for Bates College, then worked for over twenty years for The Lewiston Sun Journal, delivering papers to most of South Main Street. She truly enjoyed her job and loved passing papers. She enjoyed spending time with her son Charlie.

She leaves her parents, Ralph and Betty Perkins of Auburn; her son, Charlie Creamer, of Lewiston; and a sister, Mary Ann Perkins and her companion, Les Buzzell, of Auburn. She was predeceased by a nephew, Christopher Stevens.
