INDUSTRY — Darryl O. Lane, 48, of Industry, died early Saturday afternoon, June 11, at his home.

He was born May 11, 1963, a son of Wesley O. and Mavis (Storer) Lane, and was a 1981 graduate of Jay high school.

On June 18, 1988, he married Charlotte Whitney in Industry. He was employed at GH Bass Shoe Co., Franklin Show, and since 1987 had been employed at Bath Iron Works.

He was a lover of the outdoors who enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, jeeping, camping, ATVing, and landscaping. He also enjoyed music and dancing.

He was a previous member of Bartlett United Methodist Church of North Jay and was a member of the North Jay Excelsior and Pomona Grange, as well as the Flagstaff ATV Club and Shorey Chapel in Industry.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Charlotte, of Industry; two sons, Jason and his wife, Kathyrn, of Farmington, and Justin of Industry; his mother, Mavis, of North Jay; brother, David and his wife, Penny, of Gettysburg, Pa.; and sister, Tammy Lane, of Farmington.

He was predeceased by his father, Wesley, on Jan. 2, 2011.
