Wouldn’t it be nice if we, collectively, created a society where everyone would have their needs met?

Where the popular vote was in force so that we all actually and collectively could determine the future?

Where people would have a health care system that benefited everyone?

Where employers would hire enough employees to get the work done properly, and pay a living wage?

Where, in the marketplace, items would have two prices — wholesale and retail — so it would be obvious that the final price was reasonable?

Where the government would have a department of peace, working continually on creating lasting peace instead of lasting war, with its huge drain on the economy?

Where the rich and poor alike would be treated equally?

Where Republican, Democrat and independent representatives would be mature and loving enough to work for the common good and be willing to serve without worrying about re-election?

Where cooperation would replace competition?

Where the love of money would be replaced with the love of people?

Where the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction would be replaced with repairs to the nation’s infrastructure and creating green energy systems?

By now, people might be thinking that I’m just a dreamer. When I look back on the past, all the good things that were ever created were inspired by people who dared to dream and talk about them.
