Thanks to a generous gift from Michael St. Amour, at right, and with the help of local philanthropist and businessman Dolard Gendron, left, the YWCA of Central Maine is accepting bids for a classic 1970 Lincoln Continental Mach 3 car in good-excellent condition valued in the “Old Cars Price Guide” at $9,100. The car has 78,368 miles and opening bid is listed at $3,900. It can be viewed at the YWCA, 130 East Ave., Lewiston. To register to bid, contact the Y at 795-4050.  All proceeds will help to fund YWCA programming and services. The Y is host to the only regulation-size, handicap and publicly accessible pool in the tri-county area and welcomes more than 10,000 people annually in its programming for all ages.
