State Sen. John Patrick’s guest column in the Sun Journal (May 22) suggested that state Sen. Lois Snowe-Mello is an enemy of the state instead of an advocate. Was the purpose of his column intended to scare citizens and insult the good senator of Poland? Or, is he already starting a negative campaign on behalf of the Democratic party?

My bet is “all of the above.”

I am glad that Sen. Snowe-Mello is in Augusta, working to solve problems and fighting for Maine families. It is refreshing to see positive change taking place in the State House.
