AUBURN — Roger G. Gagnon, 68, of 937 Sabattus St., Lewiston, died at Hospice House on June 13, after a long battle with cancer with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 16, 1942, the son of Gerard and Solange Richer Gagnon. He married the love of his life, Suzanne Turgeon, July 31, 1981. They were married for 30 wonderful years. He was employed at Koss Shoe for about six years, and for the last 35 years, Roger had been employed for Ipac Fabrics, Inc. (formerly Quinco Fabrics, Inc.).
He is survived by his wife, Sue, of Lewiston; his daughter, Melissa and her husband, Bryan Lynch, of Sabattus; two grandchildren, Kylie and Katelyn, whom he loved very much and enjoyed spending time with; two sisters, Carmen and her husband, Donald Saindon, of Lewiston and Jackie and her husband, Marcel Morin, of Wales; two brothers, Raymond and his wife, Rita, of Lewiston and Maurice and his wife, Lucie, of Lewiston; two stepsisters, Edie and husband, Gary Beaulieu, of Brewer and Shirley and husband, Paul Chouinard, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; as well as his stepmom, Theresa Gagnon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he always had a great love of animals. He will be deeply loved and missed by his family and friends. There are no words that express how much he will be missed and always loved.
