LIVERMORE FALLS — Seventeen voters, including nine members of the Regional School Unit 73 School Board, voted Wednesday to approve appropriating $271,404 for adult education and raising $120,000 of it locally.

The $120,000 will be split equally at $40,000 to be raised by each town, Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls.

In other action, RSU 73 directors voted to approve administrative salary agreements with Spruce Mountain High School Principal James Holland at the Livermore Falls campus, Livermore Elementary School Principal Robert Kahler, and half-time Livermore Elementary School Assistant Principal and half-time Special Education Director Wendy Moreau.

Both Holland and Kahler will receive 2 percent salary increases to make their salaries $81,600 and $77,520, respectively. Moreau is getting at 2.5 percent pay increase.

Moreau’s salary will be $32,420 for assistant principal and $32,420 for assistant special education director.
