Poland Regional High School student Jaqueline Joncas was honored recently as the winner of the Tri-Town Optimist Club’s essay contest. She is shown with Jeff Gagnon, president of the club, which covers Mechanic Falls, Poland and Minot. The club works on projects to benefit area youth and the community.
