LEWISTON — Constance “Connie” Lee Pray, 69, of Auburn, went home to see Jesus on June 15, at Montello Manor after a long illness with COPD.
Connie was born in Auburn, Dec. 6, 1941, the daughter of Charles and Norrine Pray. She attended school in Turner, Auburn and New Gloucester.
She made her home on Lake Street in Auburn for the most of her adult life.
She worked at Supreme Slipper in Lewiston for many years and was also a crossing guard for Auburn schools.
After her retirement, she enjoyed decorating her home, weekly trips shopping, going out to eat, and going to church. She also enjoyed her many cats, people and her LORD. She was always happy around her friends, Diane, Linda, and many more. She loved her church and Pastor Beaumier.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Hobson and Cheryl of Poland and Ronald Hobson and Michelle of Phillips; one daughter, Julie Hobson of Monmouth; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Chase Pray and Greg Pray and his wife, Dawn; three sisters, Betty McCrillis and husband, Henry, Cathy Lelansky and husband, John and Peggy Larlee.
Connie was predeceased by her parents; and her brother-in-law, Craig Larlee.
