JAY — Dean A. Crosby, 75, a resident of Keep Road, Jay, died Friday, June 17, at his home.

He was born Nov. 16, 1935, in Wilton, the son of Lee and Margaret (Preston) Crosby. Dean attended Wilton Academy.

On June 27, 1964, in Dryden, he married Sandra Kimball of Livermore Falls. She passed away Sept. 5, 1988. Dean worked in the woods, as a truck driver and as a mechanic and wrecker driver for Collins Wrecker Service in Wilton.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting with his nephew, tinkering on jeeps and spending time with his faithful dog “Spike.”

He is survived by his brother, Clarendon “Bing” Crosby and his wife, Nancy, of Jay; his sister, Lois Hall and her husband, Gary, of Farmington; half-sister, Myrtle Tourtelotte of New Vineyard; cousins, Irving Lake Jr., Frances Dyke, Joyce Moore, Francine Bergmann and Montress Roy; three nieces; a nephew; and many good friends.

He was predeceased by an infant daughter; and cousin, Aubrey Wright.
