ORNEVILLE — Authorities in Maine says a party got violent after a woman was jabbed in the leg with a pair of scissors, triggering a melee that left two people injured and two others facing charges.

Maine State Police Trooper Adam Coover says the fight erupted late Wednesday at a Boyd Lake camp off Route 11 in Orneville.

Charged with assault were 41-year-old Donna Bubar and 47-year-old Wendell Bubar, 47, both of Orneville.

Coover tells the Bangor Daily News that more charges could be filed in the case.
