Franklin Savings Bank recognized the efforts of employees who have pursued additional professional education. Julie Harnden, left, and Cortany Tinker, right, with President and CEO Peter Judkins, were recognized recently for achieving certified teller status. To become a certified teller, one must attend classes, gain a recommendation from the bank and pass a grueling test. Franklin Savings Bank has eight locations in the Western Maine foothills.
