The recent statements made by family members of the individual who chose to kill his estranged wife and children in Dexter should be extremely offensive to everyone against domestic violence.
I understand their grief, but to blame the courts and his estranged wife for those murders is senseless. He, and he alone, is responsible for his actions.
What could his children have done to warrant making them watch while other loved ones were being executed?
Why would his estranged wife’s actions in trying to protect her children and herself be criticized?
No one really knows what went on in that household except the individuals who are now mourned for their senseless killing.
This is yet another wake-up call to us all. We must, collectively, take a stand against domestic violence.
