I grew up in Rumford. These days, I watch the goings-on there online through the medium of the Sun Journal, and, of course, recently have followed the ups and downs of the various proposals for a wind ordinance.

I appreciate the hard work that has gone into drafting those proposals; however, it may be that something more simple and direct is needed. So, I have the following proposed formula. It will be noticed that it is most definitely not anti-wind:

Construction on the first wind-generating tower in Rumford may begin on the day following the completion of the last possible wind generating tower in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts.

That ought to do it.
