Cory Cochran of Mexico does a successful “krook” on the Rumford Skate Park downrail on Monday. National Skateboarding Day will be celebrated at the park Tuesday, with professional skateboarders, live music, refreshments and lots of skateboarding. The event is a fundraiser to build a better skate park. It will run from 2 to 7 p.m. at Hosmer Field skate park.
