LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen voted Monday to set new town Treasurer/Town Clerk Sue Sapiel’s salary at $35,000 for the first 90 days, Town Manager Kristal Flagg said Wednesday.
After the probationary period her salary will be increased by $1,000 for the year, she said.
Selectmen on Monday appointed Sapiel, currently the Livermore Falls Sewer Department clerk, to the new position effective. She will take Flagg’s position, who will become full-time town manager July 1.
Amanda Leclerc, the administrative assistant in the Police Department, will be the sewer clerk on July 1.
