Members of the Rainbow Alliance student organizations from Kennebec Valley Community College and Central Maine Community College held a joint focus group meeting recently on the CMCC campus. The goal was to discuss common issues and challenges, develop new ideas and to get more community college students in Maine involved. The Rainbow Alliance seeks to provide regular opportunities for members to discuss and explore issues relating to sexual orientation and diversity and to enhance awareness and acceptance of legal and social changes.
