BETHEL — The Maine Woods Consortium and Northern Forest Center in collaboration with The Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce, Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, River Valley Growth Council, River Valley Chamber of Commerce and Western Maine Economic Development Council will offer “Give ’em the Pickle” customer service workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, June 27, in South Paris and Tuesday, June 28, in Rumford. The cost is $20 per person and includes all materials.
“Give ’em The Pickle” is a highly entertaining and motivational workshop designed to inspire both managers and employees to take care of the customer.
“Customer service training for tourism businesses is crucial to continued economic growth in Western Maine,” says Linda Walbridge, executive director of the Western Maine Economic Development Council. “Thanks to the regional organizing of the Maine Woods Consortium, Oxford County tourism businesses and their employees have a great opportunity to locally attend this invaluable customer service workshop”.
