Tonia Ross of Sabattus was one of eight instructors who took turns leading a Zumbathon fundraiser for Riker Dresser, a 3-month-old girl from Lewiston with leukemia. Several dozen Zumba enthusiasts and first-timers danced for two hours in the cafeteria of Edward Little High School in Auburn on Friday night. Donations, raffles and food sales raised money for the family to help offset medical and travel expenses for the youngster, who is now in a Portland hospital. A Riker Dresser Benefit Fund has been established at Maine Family Federal Credit Union for anyone wishing to make a donation. For a video of Friday’s Zumbathon fundraiser, go to www.sunjournal.com.
