Ready…Read! Yellow School Bus Award recipients were Monica Redlevske, the keynote speaker; Stephanie Gelinas, Jennifer Hogan and Shawn Wright, representatives of the Rotary Club of Lewiston-Auburn; Adele Silverman, retired Lewiston teacher; and Tahila Chamberlain, representative of Literacy Volunteers. Also recognized was Auburn Chief of Police and Acting Assistant City Manager Phil Crowell, not pictured. Seventeen children from LRTC’s on-site preschool also joined the breakfast to enjoy a reading of Eileen Christelow’s “Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed” by a high school student from the LRTC early childhood program.
