GREAT POND — The 76th annual reunion for the descendants of Joshua Williams who lived at Great Pond, Hancock County, will meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Great Pond Town Hall. The family reunion meeting will be at noon. An auction of small items will also be held.

At 1:30 p.m. the Friends of the Free Baptist Church of Great Pond will meet for a short business meeting. This is a nonprofit group organized to repair the old wooden church building and to eventually make it available as a public meeting place. All who wish to support this endeavor are invited to attend.
